Tongue-Tie is where a thin piece of skin under the baby’s tongue is abnormally short and may restrict the movement of the tongue tip. Sometimes this can interfere with a baby’s ability to suckle efficiently. If you are advised that your baby suffers from this conditions by a lactation consultant, experienced clinician or you are experiencing problems with feeding.
Dr Schulze can conduct a thorough assessment and can determine whether a Tongue-Tie release is required. In the Absence of Dr Schulze, Dr Metcalfe can also conduct a thorough assessment and determine whether a Tongue-Tie release is required.
